CONTEXT
As part of modernizing its IT infrastructure, a major international Swiss private bank launched an initiative to increase reliability, industrialize, and monitor software deployments across all its application environments.
The goal was twofold: to ensure installation consistency and stability across banking servers (on-premise and cloud), and to automate as many operations as possible to reduce operational risks and boost integration team efficiency. This project was carried out within the Software Integrations Services department in collaboration with Tindaro’s team.

INTERVENTION
Numendo supported internal teams in implementing and automating integration and deployment processes through the following key actions:
• Puppet Configuration: Set up configurations to industrialize software deployment across application server clusters.
• Grafana Monitoring: Implemented monitoring to allow fine-grained tracking of system and application metrics.
• CI/CD Pipelines: Created Bamboo pipelines to orchestrate application build, test, and deployment phases.
• Production Tracking: Tracked, managed, and monitored production environments to guarantee critical application stability.
• Architecture Support: Assisted with technical evaluations of architectures and contributed to infrastructure discussions for Cloud and on-premise environments.
• Automation: Automated deployments and recurring operations to improve efficiency and minimize human error.
• Containerization & Security: Implemented containerization solutions and participated in technical vulnerability audits.
• Agile Collaboration: Worked closely with Product Owners and technical teams, participating in the engineering team’s on-call rotation.

Results
Numendo’s intervention enabled the private bank to gain robustness and efficiency in its deployment and monitoring processes. Teams now benefit from an automated, monitored, and documented foundation that simplifies maintenance under operational conditions while ensuring faster incident response. DevOps practices were strengthened through appropriate tools, enhanced environment governance, and finer delivery chain management.
