Context
BNP Paribas Personal Finance sought to develop an internal proof of concept for an innovative mobile application called “Mon Budget.” This prototype was delivered to BNP PF employees in July and made available to the general public in September. The app allows users to save money intelligently by incorporating various features: an account aggregator, a notification system, a money pot, credit simulation (Cetelem), and an area dedicated to the collaborative economy.

Numendo stepped in to design a seamless and engaging user experience by conducting UX workshops, creating wireframes and user testing, and crafting UI mockups aligned with BNP PF’s brand guidelines. This effort simplified key user journeys—such as account access, money pot management, and transfers—while boosting mobile ergonomics.

The engagement enabled the development and integration of core features tailored to user needs. User journeys were streamlined to reduce the number of clicks required to access accounts, execute transfers, manage money pots, and sell items. Thanks to this approach, the application delivers a smoother, more intuitive experience that drives end-user adoption.
