As part of migrating all its e-commerce front ends to React, the client chose to focus its internal teams on this transformation. To keep existing platforms running during the transition, the IT department set up a dedicated agile squad for the evolutionary maintenance (TME) of legacy front ends until the new React front ends went live.

Numendo deployed a team consisting of two Product Owners, a Front Lead Tech, and a Senior Front Developer. The three-month time-and-materials engagement was structured into one-week sprints with four iterations, operating out of the service center in Mulhouse, Alsace.

Thanks to this evolutionary maintenance mission, the client maintained business continuity without interruption while fully focusing internal resources on the React migration. Despite working with complex and sparsely documented legacy code, the Numendo team effectively stabilized and optimized existing front ends, allowing the client to meet its migration schedule with no operational risk.
