CONTEXT
Artel, an entity of the Arval group (BNP Paribas), publishes a global telematics and fleet management solution combining onboard IoT hardware and an advanced software platform. Used internally and by external clients, this application enables real-time vehicle tracking, key indicator analysis (fuel consumption, driving behavior), and telematics box maintenance. To support rapid service growth and address critical challenges in technical debt, performance, and cloud migration, Arval called upon Numendo’s Full Stack expertise.

Numendo deployed a Senior Full Stack consultant (Minh Le) to lead major initiatives spanning architecture overhaul, delivery, and optimization:
• Front-End Refactoring & Migration: Technical leadership in migrating from AngularJS to modern Angular versions (v14) to secure and streamline the fleet management interface.
• Cloud & Data Architecture (AWS / Search): AWS stack design via Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation), creation of batch jobs and schedulers, and migration of the ElasticSearch client.
• Global Performance Optimization: Resolution of critical latency issues through Oracle SQL index optimization, application memory overhead reduction, and HTML code generation streamlining.
• CI/CD Industrialization & Quality: Maintenance and enhancement of Jenkins continuous integration pipelines, resolution of SonarQube code quality alerts, and deployment of unit/integration tests.
• Cross-Functional Roles (Scrum & Prod): Temporary Scrum Master role coverage during a 6-month interim period, and active participation in production deployments as Prod Master.
