Would you like to take part in an event where all developers come together? Discover Devoxx: already present in 5 countries, this event will also be held in France, in Paris, from 18 to 20 April 2018.
What does this event offer?
Devoxx offers several types of activity over the three days of talks. There are:
- Keynotes: opening plenary sessions taking place every morning at 9am. If you want to get in, come 20 minutes early — expect large crowds.
- Conferences: one of the main components of Devoxx, these are 45-minute presentations taking place only on Thursday and Friday.
- A “University” strand which will only take place on Wednesday. These are various talks and workshops covering different subjects.
- Tools in Action: short sessions (around 30 minutes) whose purpose is to present a tool, a piece of software or a practical solution.
- Hands-on Labs: a very interesting strand! The aim is to explore a subject in depth over three hours, covering both theory and practice. You will therefore need to bring your computer to take part in this activity (Devoxx provides internet access for everyone during the Hands-on Labs).
- Quickies: short formats (15 minutes) whose purpose is to introduce you to projects and ideas during the lunch breaks.
- B.O.F (Birds of a Feather): the biggest asset of Devoxx! On Thursday evening at 7.45pm, members of all the community groups of enthusiasts get together. You will find, for example, members of ParisJS, the Paris Scala User Group, and so on.

Some practical information about Devoxx France
The 7th edition of Devoxx France will feature more than 3,000 participants and 235 presentations in total, as well as the presence of major companies such as Microsoft and IBM as sponsors and exhibitors.
